This page covers the questions we are asked most: how to use a code, what to do when one is rejected, and who to contact when something looks wrong. CouponReals is free to use and you do not need an account.

Using a coupon code

  1. Open the store page you are interested in and find the offer you want.
  2. Press Get Code. The code is copied to your clipboard automatically and the retailer opens in a new tab. The button then shows the code itself, so you can read it off the page if your browser blocked the copy.
  3. At the retailer, add your items to the basket and go to checkout.
  4. Paste the code into the field marked Promo code, Discount code or Voucher, then apply it.
  5. Check the order total before you pay. If the total did not change, the code did not apply — see the section below.

Keep the tab we opened for you. Retailers attribute a discount through the link you arrived on, so starting a fresh session in another window can drop the offer.

Codes and deals are not the same thing

An offer marked Verified code gives you a string to paste at checkout. An offer marked Current deal has no code at all — the price is already reduced when you follow the link, so there is nothing to paste. Offers past their end date stay on the page marked Expired offer and are faded out, because a code that stopped working yesterday is still useful information.

If a code does not work

Almost every rejected code comes down to a term set by the retailer, not to a fault on our side. The usual reasons:

  • A minimum spend that your basket has not reached.
  • New customers only, or a single use per account.
  • Region or currency limits — many codes only work on the retailer's own country store.
  • Excluded items: sale stock, gift cards, subscriptions and certain brands are commonly carved out.
  • One code per order. A code will not stack on top of a discount already applied to the basket.
  • The promotion ended early. Retailers withdraw campaigns without notice, including before the date they published.
  • The referral link was blocked by a privacy extension or a strict tracking setting. Try again in a normal browser window.

If one code is rejected, work down the list on the store page — several codes are usually live at once, and the deals below them need no code at all.

What "verified" means

Verified means a code was tested and worked the last time we checked it. It is not a guarantee: terms change, stock runs out, and a retailer can end a campaign the same day it starts. We mark offers as expired rather than leaving them on the page to collect clicks. How we make money, and what a commission does and does not influence, is set out in our Disclosure Policy.

Finding a store or a category

If you know the retailer, search by brand name from the store search. If you are browsing, start from all categories and open the category that fits what you are shopping for. Each store page carries the current codes and deals for that retailer, the discount value of each offer, and the date an offer runs out where the retailer has published one.

Sale events and featured products

Seasonal campaigns — Black Friday, Cyber Monday, back to school, end-of-year clearance — are grouped by event and year under sale events, with the stores taking part in each one. Featured products is a shorter, hand-picked list with the price we last saw at the retailer.

Prices, discount values and expiry dates

Every price and expiry date on this site is a snapshot from the moment we published or last checked the offer. The retailer's own page is always the authoritative source, and it is the one to trust if the two disagree.

Reporting an offer that is wrong

Tell us and we will re-check it. Write to hello@couponreals.com with:

  • the store name and the link to the page you were on;
  • the code you used, exactly as it appeared;
  • what the retailer's checkout said when it rejected the code;
  • the country you were shopping from, and roughly when you tried.

That last pair matters more than it looks — a code that fails from one country often works from another, and a report without them can rarely be reproduced.

Orders, deliveries, returns and refunds

CouponReals is not a shop. We do not sell anything, we do not take payments, and we have no access to your order, your delivery or your account with a retailer. If a parcel has not arrived, an item is faulty, or you want to cancel or return something, the retailer's own customer service is the only place that can help. We can only help with the offer itself.

Your data

You can use the whole site without an account and without giving us anything. What is stored in your browser, and how to switch it off, is explained in our Cookie Policy; personal data more broadly is covered by our Privacy Policy.
