Zak Designs Limited Lifetime Warranty
At Zak Designs, Zak work hard to provide you with quality products. Unfortunately, things can happen during the manufacturing process, so Zak offer Zak customers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on specified products. It covers material and workmanship issues as long as they weren’t caused by the product being used in any way other than how it was intended.
There are limits to the warranty. Accessories (like straws, for example) are excluded, and accidental damage as well as normal wear and tear aren’t covered. By “wear and tear,” Zak mean damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Even though Zak choose the best materials available for our products, all materials degrade over time with use—moving parts will wear out, paint and decals will deteriorate and fade, and dents and scratches will happen. Stains and discoloration are not covered by this warranty. Accidental damage is damage to the product caused by improper use or accidents. If the product is dropped, not cleaned correctly, or if warning and use symbols aren’t followed, the warranty won’t apply.
The term “Lifetime” refers to the expected lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the consumer who purchased it. A product’s lifetime isn’t a function of how old it is, but rather of how much use it gets and how well it’s cared for.
Submit your warranty claim if your product has a material or workmanship issue. Zak’ll review and respond to you within 1 – 2 weeks. Zak have an excellent Customer Service team, but even as helpful and efficient as they are, it might be faster and more convenient for you to return your product to the retail store where you purchased it. This will also help minimize replacement time and avoid return shipping charges.
Zak don’t offer monetary reimbursement, and the Limited Lifetime Warranty can’t be transferred. Zak Designs will repair the product if possible or replace it with the same item as long as that item is still in stock. If the exact product, color, or style is no longer in stock, Zak’ll replace it, at Zak discretion, with a comparable product, style, or color.
Zak Designs’ total liability for any loss or damage, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product. IN NO EVENT WILL ZAK BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
