First and foremost, we have to operate as a business to do this so that Ekotex Yoga can deliver excellent products at great prices to our customers. From here, we aim to make a significant, positive impact on the environment. By 'operate as a business, I mean to be professional in all Ekotex Yoga do. From the level of service, you experience to the product itself. Ekotex Yoga will deliver.
The 'yoga industry' is a contradiction where the environment is concerned. As individuals, yoga practitioners are thoughtful consumers - that is part and parcel of our yoga practice. However, when you look at the bulk of the products on the market, very few are genuinely environmentally friendly. The vast majority of mats are made from virgin plastic. The word 'plastic' is never used, but this is the material we practice on. The most popular pro mat in the world - made from virgin plastic. The UK's most popular sticky mats - made from virgin plastic.
There are natural alternatives, such as jute, rubber, cork. But the cost is often prohibitive or the lifespan very short, especially for a new teacher or studio on a shoe-string. When produced without harmful chemicals like phthalates, PVC can be a comfortable and non-toxic surface to practice on. It is closed-cell and can be kept clean. It lasts forever, and it is cheap. For this reason, the majority of teachers I speak to ultimately end up using our high-quality PVC mats in their studios. Knowing all of this and having managed a yoga studio, I would make the same decision if I had limited funds.

Ekotex Yoga take pride in our products. After all, Ekotex Yoga have tried and tested these products to make sure they are a high quality for you! Your order is important to Ekotex Yoga, which is why we want to make sure that your products arrive at the time you expect them and in excellent condition. Please take a moment to review our delivery and order processing policy to be informed of how and when your order will be processed and delivered.
Order Processing
Orders placed by noon on a working day (excludes Public Holidays) are processed and dispatched by the end of the following working day.
Ekotex Yoga are a small team working between the office and warehouse - if there is an issue with your order processing or dispatch Ekotex Yoga will contact you as soon as possible to discuss, and let you know how your order will then be processed and delivered.
Please be aware that any orders placed on or immediately following a release date or during a sale, your item(s) may be delayed and may require up to 48 hours of additional processing time.
Delivery Methods within Mainland UK
Ekotex Yoga use DPD, Royal Mail and occasionally DHL Express to ship orders.
Packages shipped using DPD are trackable and insured. If your order is not delivered as promised, Ekotex Yoga can issue a replacement or refund to you. Unfortunately, DPD does not service P.O. Box or APO addresses.
Packages sent via standard Royal mail are unfortunately untrackable.
Ekotex Yoga send you an email when Ekotex Yoga dispatch your order from our warehouse. Ekotex Yoga recommend when ordering for next day delivery that you ensure someone is in to receive the order (or enter an alternative address for delivery).
Delivery times are of course for guidance and cannot be guaranteed unless Ekotex Yoga specifically describe them as such. Generally there are no issues but please be aware that very occasionally issues arise with the carrier and your order may be delayed.
Ekotex Yoga take great care to pass on any delivery notes that you provide with your order, but of course once Ekotex Yoga pass this on to the carrier it is up to the delivery driver to comply. Ekotex Yoga send the orders to be signed for, and so if you provide delivery instructions (such as leaving in an outbuilding etc) which results in a package being lost/damaged Ekotex Yoga are really sorry to say that the insurance/compensation would be invalidated.
International Shipping: Ekotex Yoga can deliver to you almost worldwide! Rates are calculated based on a number of factors, including desired service level, the weight of the item, and the cost of shipping, handling, and customs clearance from the UK to the destination country/region.

Delivery Promotional Offers
Like our customers, Ekotex Yoga are fans of delivery promotions. Unfortunately, however, any special delivery offers available on Ekotex Yoga website apply only to orders shipping to a UK Mainland destination.
Ekotex Yoga also regret that free delivery and/or other shipping promotions do not apply to oversized packages. Additional shipping charges will be added to all orders containing oversized products at the time of processing.
Returns
Ekotex Yoga understand that sometimes things just aren't what you wanted and Ekotex Yoga accept returns provided the item is unused and in the same condition you received it. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately Ekotex Yoga are unable offer you a refund or exchange.
To complete your return, Ekotex Yoga require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to Ekotex Yoga error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, Ekotex Yoga will send you an email to notify you that Ekotex Yoga have received your returned item. Ekotex Yoga will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a 5 working days amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
Ekotex Yoga only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send Ekotex Yoga an email at stayintouch@ekotexyoga.co.uk and send your item to: Ekotex Yoga, 18A Tennant Street, Edinburgh GB EH6 5ND.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card code will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, Ekotex Yoga will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Ekotex Yoga, 18A Tennant Street, Edinburgh GB EH6 5ND. Please notify us before you do this so Ekotex Yoga can expect the items.
In the event of an exchange, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
In the event of a return of a damaged or incorrect item, Ekotex Yoga will send you a shipping label and arrange the return shipment with you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Ekotex Yoga cannot unfortunately guarantee that Ekotex Yoga will receive your returned item.
