When should I expect my order to arrive?
- Most orders will be shipped from our distribution warehouse within 3-5 business days, but please allow 7-10 business days after new product releases or store-wide sales. 

When you purchase an expedited shipping rate, please note that this impacts carrier timeframes for transit only. Due to the nature of being a handmade small business, processing times will not be expedited with a faster carrier speed. 

Do you provide tracking information for orders?
- Candelles do. All orders will be provided a shipping confirmation via email that includes a tracking number.

How do you ship your packages?
- Currently due to USPS delays, Candelles are shipping the majority of our flat rate and free shipping packages via UPS Ground. If you’d prefer your order shipped USPS or expedited faster than ground, please choose your preferred method during shipment instead of Candelles promotional flat rate options. Shipping costs are provided during checkout in real-time from these carriers to give you the best price available.

Additionally, if you provide a P.O. box or APO shipping address, your order must be shipped via USPS and can potentially take up to an additional 30 days to be delivered due to current COVID-19 delays.

Do you ship internationally?
- Candelles are happy to ship worldwide! As with the above question, you will be able to see shipping costs during checkout provided in realtime from the available carriers.

What happens if my tracking number stops updating and my package is never delivered?
- Once your order has been passed off to the shipping carrier, unfortunately Candelles do not have any further access or control of the package's transit. That said, if your package tracking shows no movement for 30 days, Candelles are happy to provide you with a shop credit for the order’s value less shipping.

Alternatively, if your package is lost in transit, you can contact the carrier and file a claim for your personal reimbursement directly. (Do not file this claim for reimbursement to Candelles!)

Will you cover international customs fees?
- Unfortunately, no. When shipping internationally, the customer is responsible for all fees associated with the transit of the package. Once we ship your order and provide you with a tracking number, you are responsible for tracking your order down and paying any additional fees necessary in order to receive your package.

Can I return one of the candles I had ordered?
- Because our items are handmade, Candelles do not currently accept returns. While Candelles know that you can't exactly smell the candles before ordering online, Candelles do Candelles best to describe Candelles scents as accurately as possible with all fragrant notes listed. Please consider gifting to a friend! 

If you believe there to be a defect, please email Candelles as soon as possible at hello@candelles.com thoroughly detailing the issue and providing clear pictures.

Can I cancel my order?
- Candelles orders are processed in our distribution warehouse on a routine basis throughout each day. Candelles can only cancel orders if they haven't been fulfilled yet. Once Candelles warehouse has fulfilled your order (even if you've yet to receive a shipping confirmation), Candelles are unable to cancel. Email as early as possible and Candelles’d be happy to cancel if your order has not yet been processed.

What should I do if I've received a broken candle in my order?
- If your package is delivered with any damage, please email Candelles at hello@candelles.com with your order number and a clear picture of any damages and Candelles’d be happy to replace your candle.

What is the approximate burn time of your candles?
Because soy wax is the cleanest and most efficient wax to burn, Candelles candles have excellent burn times. Candelles Standard candles will burn 80-120 hours. Candelles Petite candles will burn 30-50 hours. Candelles Tumblers will burn 75-100 hours.

These statistics were tested when burning a candle between 2-4 hours at one single time and relit for another 2-4 hours after it's hardened. If you keep your candle burning all day long, it will surely burn through faster than Candelles projected timeframes.

Are your candles vegan friendly?
- Yes, they are. Candelles go the extra mile and have 100% natural soy wax produced by U.S farmers, all natural fragrance oils, non-treated lead-free cotton wicks, and no dyes. All of Candelles fragrances are also alcohol-free and phthalate-free!

Do you make candle favors for special events?
- Candelles do! Candelles will help you find the size and jar of your choice and even assist you in customizing a label to match any event.

Candelles REFUND POLICY

RETURNS
Because of the handmade nature of our items, all sales are final. However, if items in your order are defective or were damaged prior to receipt, please contact Candelles Customer Service Team with pictures and Candelles’d be happy to resolve this for you.

Unfortunately, Candelles cannot offer refunds or exchanges if you do not like your scent(s) upon receipt. Because you are choosing to order online without previewing the scent, please know that you are ordering at your own discretion. You will find all fragrant notes in each candle listing, but please reach out if you have any concerns about potential sensitivities.

Candelles cannot accept any returns of candles that have been lit.

If you need to inquire about a return/refund, please email hello@candelles.com for assistance. Candelles will discuss the details of your return to determine if you are eligible for a refund. 

REFUNDS
Please email Candelles prior to any returns. Only unlit candles received in sellable condition will be considered for potential return. To ensure an approved return is received in good condition, please return with the original packaging materials if possible, or provide alternate materials to ensure the candle is safely cushioned and secured.

Once your return is received we will send you an email to notify you that Candelles have received your returned item and confirm your refund has been processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment after their processing time, usually within 3 to 5 business days.

CANCELLATIONS
You can cancel your order for a full refund within the first 24 hours of submitting order as long as it has not yet been processed by our warehouse team. For flash sales and online sales, you must request to cancel within 6 hours so Candelles can restock the items to be sold to someone else.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If your refund has not yet processed, please ensure that you have allowed 3 to 5 business days for processing, and check your payment account again. If it is still not reflected, please contact your payment provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact Candelles at hello@candelles.com.

EXCHANGES
Candelles can only replace items if they are damaged during transit. If you have received a damaged product, please email Candelles with clear pictures and details of the damage at hello@candelles.com to receive a replacement of the damaged item (same item only.)

GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, Candelles are happy to offer  shop credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, an egift card will be sent to you via email.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, Candelles will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

SHIPPING
When receiving a refund for a damaged product, your shipping and handling costs are not included, but Candelles will provide you with a free ship code for a future order. Alternatively, if you request a replacement for a damaged product, Candelles’re happy to replace at Candelles cost.

To return your product, please contact Candelles at hello@candelles.com and Candelles will provide you the appropriate shipping address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it is a damaged or defective unit. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the timeframe may vary for receipt of your exchanged product.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Candelles can’t guarantee that Candelles will receive your returned item.
